The idea behind the site is fairly simple. We are a news site similar to any other except we do not cover any news that is bad, unhappy or sad. For example, while we do not intend to record the casualties and atrocities of war we will naturally only be to happy to write about an amicably reached ceasefire.
The reason why we've decided to concentrate on positive news is simply because we believe that good news is not adequately represented by most news agencies.
Look in your regular newspaper and you'll be lucky to see one positive news story but in real life there is a lot of good things happening all the time.
After all if there were not any good things going on in the world then it would have gone to pot ages ago. So all we're doing is trying to redress the balance and remind people that there are many more positive events than you normally read about.
